So, having reported to you all that I was starting my new diet plan last Tuesday, I’m now one week in. I have to say so far, so good! I’m following the Exante plan, I’m actually really enjoying the shakes that I’m having as meal replacements. There’s a huge amount of choices and flavours and I haven’t yet found a flavour that I’m not keen on. The shakes are sweet (I have got a sweet tooth) and the flavours are accurate. My new favourite is creamy coconut, and it really does taste of coconut, without being overpowering.
When I’m having my evening meal, the idea is to have low calories but also a low carb meal. I’ve been sticking to the things I know to be mostly protein; eggs, ham, chicken, salmon, salads etc. Which is fine for me as I do like meat, but I’m running out of ideas. I tend to repeat the same meal for ease.
My results for week 1 are a loss of 2lb and 8oz. I’m really pleased to see the scales move, I hope I can stick to it for week 2. My goals are to up my water intake as this can aid with the weight loss and also prevent water retention.
